Kiwitreks Guided Walks

number of self guided walks are now available from Kiwitreks who are based at Kaihu Farm. Have a look on their website for more information.
Kauri Forests.
This is the area of the big Kauri Trees. Several trees can
be visited in the Waipoua Forest with walks from 5 minutes
to 1 ½ hour.

There is a 40 minute walk in
the Trounson Kauri Park. Trounson Park is a kiwi sanctuary with over 300
Kiwi's resident in its untouched native Forest. The Kauri Coast Holiday
Park organises a guided night walk in Trounson Park. Bookings:

It is also possible to do this walk by yourself with a red torch during the evening.
